Mending & Repair Service (In Warranty)

We’re here to help extend the life of your items while reducing textile waste, in partnership with Mend.Mother.

Why repair with us?
By choosing to repair, recycle, and reuse your Color of Heat items, you’re helping to keep clothing out of landfills and supporting the slow fashion movement. Together, we’re ending the cycle of fast fashion!

What we offer for items under 1 year old (In Warranty):
- Free mending and repairs for defects in manufacturing and materials.
- You pay $8 at checkout for a prepaid USPS shipping label (US lower 48). Once we have inspected your item and confirmed the defect is covered, we refund the $8.
- Covered: seams that have come apart, elastic that has given out, and stitching or material faults under normal wear.
- Not covered: accidental damage, alterations, and ordinary wear and tear.
- Repairs include elastic replacement, seam repair, fabric patching.
- We pay to ship your item back to you.
- Our average turnaround time for repairs is 3–4 weeks, once receiving your item, depending on studio availability and event schedules. Your $8 refund is issued after inspection, so allow the same window.

If your item cannot be repaired:
- It's recycled into our reHeat Program to create up-cycle goods.
- You will receive store credit to order a replacement only from available stock.

If your item is not covered by the warranty: we will tell you after inspection, and your $8 covers the shipping either way. You can then repair it under our Out of Warranty Repair Service ($10–$25, invoiced after inspection), or trade it in or recycle it for store credit.

Before You Send Your Items: Ensure your items are clean (a $5 cleaning fee applies if they arrive unwashed).

✨ Rush repairs may be available for an added fee, especially for items outside of the 1-year warranty period. We’ll confirm with you before proceeding.
